Writing from the Dark Side

Heh! I started out calling this blog post "Blogging from the Darkside" and then went to "Writing from the Darkside" and then went on to finally arrive at "Pubbing from the Darkside".  This little tidbit of information should be able to give you a little hint over what has been happening at the Oliver Homestead since I last posted.

Big News! I am part of a great collaboration with a collection of Writers who decided that if a romance book should be done, it should be done by us! Hence, the beginning of what is now know as Welcome to Serenity Harbor, Maine.

This is huge! This is ginormous! All of the books are set around the fictional coastal Maine town of Serenity Harbor. We didn't limit genre, only that their characters fall in love in Maine.

Sunday Reading: When We Met

There is something about becoming a writer that makes being a reader all that much harder. You begin to pick apart plots, change dialog and sometimes, you throw the book out in disgust because it isn't going the way you want it to go.

All the same reasons I became a writer in the first place. But I digress.

The deceiving part of having a Kindle is that you have no reminder of just how big your TBR (To Be Read) Pile is growing until you log on and find them all on your screen. Hubby is happy that there isn't the book piles growing in the house, but that's him.

A couple of months ago (dear me, has it been months?!) I got a copy of SUSAN MALLERY'S WHEN WE MET (2014). It wasn't until the massive heatwave hit Maine this weekend that I took the time to crack it open and I couldn't be happier!

Cover Reveal!!!! New look for Three Truths!

I've been working my butt off this weekend to get this updated on Amazon, but here is the new cover for Three Truths! Isn't it fabulous? It was done by Kennedy Kelly at Cover Crush Designs. I can't wait to see it in print!
