Passing on good advice...

I've been asked to do a presentation at the New Jersey RWA conference. This is a huge honor and I am so grateful to them. But I have one huge problem! I'm afraid of talking in public. The last time I did (also the first time) I ended up finishing and then having a panic attack. But I did it! That's important. Anyway, I decided that the best way to do this is to be as prepared as I possibly can and to look at how others handle speaking in public. I found a great talk about the differences between how men and women present ideas on the Harlequin blog. Channel Your Inner Guy. Anyway, it gave me a great amount of insight into how I should come across and also when I look back at the workshops that I've enjoyed in the past they follow right along with the ideas presented. Kudos to Isabel Swift. I may not need that emergency number for an ambulance after all!
